iLiturgia 9.6.15

The iLiturgia app allows users to pray all the canonical hours of the Liturgy of the Hours on their iPhone or iPad, completely offline.

In collaboration with Edições CNBB, it provides the official texts for the Church in Brazil for the Liturgy of the Hours and Lectionaries, translated by CNBB and duly authorized by the Holy See.

Here are its key features:

• iLiturgia is entirely offline, eliminating the need for an internet connection.
• It is comprehensive, including all canonical offices: Office of Readings, Lauds, Terce (9 am), Sext (12 pm), None (3 pm), Vespers, and Compline.
• Users can pray the readings from the Office of Readings for both the annual and biennial cycles, as well as the Gospel of the day for "lectio divina," especially during Lauds and Vespers.
• It also encompasses all solemnities, feasts, and memorials – obligatory and optional – as well as all Commons provided in the Liturgy of the Hours.
• All offices are automatically assembled to assist the user.
• Includes Psalm prayers at the end of each psalm and canticle.
• The catechesis of Popes Saint John Paul II and Benedict XVI on the Psalms and Canticles of Lauds and Vespers is available.
• Songs in Portuguese and Latin.
• It also provides the daily liturgy with Mass readings according to the Lectionaries, in addition to formularies, ordinaries, prefaces, and Eucharistic prayers as per the Roman Missal.
• Furthermore, it offers various prayers of the Church, with a focus on the Holy Rosary.
